The FIM are pleased to announce the extension and expansion of Track Racing’s Pay-Per-View broadcast agreement with Tapes Up Productions for the 2023 season. For the first time, the FIM Long Track World Championship will be available through a live stream package on Tapes Up TV. The channel will also exclusively broadcast selected Speedway Grand Prix Qualification events including the Grand Prix Challenge.

The UK-based company Tapes Up Productions was founded in 2007 and has had a long-term involvement in the sport, having first produced official coverage of the Long Track World Championship in 2013. Last season, the Tapes Up TV channel broadcasted a series of shows covering the 2022 season in a ‘Video on Demand’ format. The channel also provided live coverage of the Speedway Grand Prix Challenge held at Glasgow.

Production values will be unchanged for the 2023 campaign but, in a first for the FIM Long Track World Championship, all coverage will now be available to viewers live and on demand. Respected British broadcasters Dave Goddard and David Rowe will provide English language commentary, sharing duties throughout the year.

Tapes Up TV’s Alex Raby commented“Our whole team is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to extend our deal with the FIM into a new season, and we are especially proud to be the first to live stream the FIM Long Track World Championship.  We know that fans of the sport will be pleased to have these opportunities to watch from home wherever they are in the world, and to re-watch the best of the action again throughout the season on Tapes Up TV.

Fabio Muner, FIM Marketing and Digital Director, added: “We understand that not all fans can be trackside at every meeting, but now being able to offer them live coverage of the FIM Long Track World Championship for the first time is a really important moment for this discipline. The FIM has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Tapes Up TV, and we are very confident that they will deliver a package to the global fan base that will showcase the speed and skill involved in this sport in the best possible way.

Live stream passes for the full FIM Long Track World Championship season are now available to order with an early bird discount at www.tapesup.tv
